Our Guides
• are experienced in the wilderness parks of Western Canada.
They know the trails, the various weather conditions, the risks and
where the amazing lookout points are
• have extensive knowledge of the wildlife, history and
geography of Western Canada’s parks
• are outdoor communication and safety experts certified in
leading tours through wilderness areas
• promote Safety First and Leave No Trace Principles (read more
on our Philosophy page)
• are committed to a program of continuing professional
development for your benefit
• are skilled in navigation and wilderness leadership, and have
completed a rigorous training program including Wilderness First Aid
and CPR, a supervised apprenticeship and a series of outdoor
examinations

standards set out by land managers and professional guiding associations
Parks Permits
All commercial guiding in National, Provincial and State parks must follow legal permits issued by the parks. Sea Peak Adventures holds permits issued by the following parks and can therefore lead expeditions into the following pristine wilderness areas:
